As usual, our trip was the BEST ever...

Idlewilde is the ONLY place to stay while in Estes Park ....It is hard to get a reservation PLAN EARLY !!! It is so worth it !!! My husband and our children with grandchildren came for a week and stayed in the Linger Longer. It was Perfect except we would have enjoyed more time to Linger Longer !!! The cabin was spotless, the grounds were pristine and we even got a middle of the night company a cub at the cabin next to ours !!! It was awesome to see the cub swipe the hummingbird feeder down and drink the sugar water..... We enjoyed ourselves so much we already booked our 2015 solitude time...... I can hardly wait to June of next year already !!! Thanks to Tom and Donna and of course it was great to see Lloyd and Donna on the property this year too.....You are all part of our extended family now !!!!!!! Again thanks so much !

We will return...

After two days of rough camping at the RMNP the cabin by the river was just the medicine we needed to recover. Donna and Tom were awesome. always helpful, kind and informative. Marc, the owner works hard to maintain and improve the place. Everyone there is very friendly. The cabins are clean, peaceful with all the necessary amenities - a place we will sure go back to.

This place IS Colorado to me!

Once more, we drove our way from Kansas City to the most beautiful spot on earth this summer-- Idlewilde by the River. At least it's tops in my humble opinion. Our cabin was its usual guest-friendly abode, the hummingbirds at our kitchen window our constant companions. The river just feet from our door splashed away with a noise that is no less symphonic than the offering of a philharmonic orchestra. Our screened-in porch a haven rain or shine. The new managers were friendly and efficient, the housekeeping just fine. This place IS Colorado to me. Simply divine!
