We love Idlewilde!

We just returned from our annual trip to Estes Park, and as usual, we stayed at Idlewilde. Our first trip to Estes Park was about 26 years ago when our boys were young. We stayed at Idlewilde then and fell in love with it. On our first trip we stayed in the Holiday cabin. We have stayed in several of the other cabins over the years, but last year and this year we stayed in the Holiday again. We also have already reserved the Holiday for our 2015 trip. The river is so soothing and sitting on your screened in porch listening to it is great!! We recommend Idlewilde to anyone we know who is visiting Estes Park. We would never stay anywhere else in Estes. Tom and Donna are great, as were Lloyd and Donna last year. Very friendly and helpful. Best place to stay in Estes Park. Can't wait till next year!!

This place IS Colorado to me!

Once more, we drove our way from Kansas City to the most beautiful spot on earth this summer-- Idlewilde by the River. At least it's tops in my humble opinion. Our cabin was its usual guest-friendly abode, the hummingbirds at our kitchen window our constant companions. The river just feet from our door splashed away with a noise that is no less symphonic than the offering of a philharmonic orchestra. Our screened-in porch a haven rain or shine. The new managers were friendly and efficient, the housekeeping just fine. This place IS Colorado to me. Simply divine!

Next time we will stay 10 nights!

The kids, Olga myself really enjoyed our stay at Idlewilde this year. This was our 5th stay at Idlewilde. As usual, we caught a number of trout in the river right in front of our cabin. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the playground. There is so much to do at Idlewilde, in Estes Park and in RMNP. I've decided that 7 nights there is not enough - next time we'll stay for 10 nights.
