"Dear Lloyd and Donna, Thank you very much for your hospitality during our recent stay, May 20-24, 2010. I spent a
father/son vaction with my oldest son and could not have had a better time. The cabins were spotless, cozy, and
relaxing just as advertised. We could not have had better accomodations, ammenities or friendliness. We spent a
lot of time on the river and other waters around Estes and the National Park fishing and taking in the wildlife
and scenary, but always felt great coming back to the cabin whether for lunch or a relaxing night grilling and
listening to the Big Thompson rushing by outside the cabin. I felt guilty leaving my wife at home, but the retreat
away was a wonderful time spent catching up with my 24 year old son. Donnna was helpful in finding coupons and
helping secure a tee time at the golf course and providing other discount cards for shopping in Estes. We
definately felt like it was a home away from home. I am looking at returning with my wife in September so she can
enjoy Idlewilde the way we did. This vacation made it easy coming home and going back to work because I know
Idlewilde will be there for another visit soon. Thanks again, Donna, Lloyd and Staff for a wonderful trip and a
wonderful place to stay. We look forward to seeing you again in the future and I'll be sharing your website and
photos we took to friends and family."

"We had the wonderful pleasure of staying at Naughty Pine the first week of June. We only got
to stay for a few days and that was definitely not long enough. We love the sound of the river flowing by and the
house was amazing! There were 8 of us there and we had more than enough room. Lloyd and Donna were extremely
friendly and helpful. Would definitley stay there again."

"Ataloa is the perfect back-to-nature getaway for 2 from the summer heat. This was our 5th
return to Idlewilde last time I counted. Aside from the closeness of the river, pine smells, Elk and privacy are
what you do each year to maintain the property and keep it clean as if you were living in each cabin. I think that
says a lot. We will return!"

better time while staying at Idlewilde! Hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park, taking pictures of all the
wildlife, fishing, horseback riding, shopping, eating out at all the great restaurants in Estes Park, too many
activities to list! The owners at Idlewilde could not have been any nicer hosts, the location is perfect, the
accomodations clean and well kept, very comfortable for the ten of us in the two cabins we rented. I highly

"We made our first visit to Estes Park June of 2010 and were excited about visiting the Rocky
Mountain National Park. Planning a trip to an unknown area comes with a bit of uncertainty, to be sure. Our family
of five stayed a week in the Pine Rest cabin at Idelwilde and immediately fell in love with the view, the river,
the sound of rushing water and cool breezes, cracking the windows at night and feeling like you are close to nature.
All the time you are comfortable in a clean cabin with kitchen, bathroom, and screened in porch. All the
testimonials describe Idelwilde accurately. They are the reason we picked this quiet, off the beaten path location.
Donna and Loyd greet you from the start and are very helpful, especially with tips to local attractions and dining.
The hot tub was always ready after a long day hiking or horseback riding. Imagine staying in a place where all your
neighbors are as happy as you to be relaxing and enjoying nature. We met a number of very nice folks while kicking
back in the common areas next to the river. We had one small problem with the oven not working the first night we
used it....not to worry. Donna welcomed us to her own kitchen to bake muffins while Loyd fixed the appliance. We
felt just at home!!! We pride ourselves on wanting to see many parts of the country, but we just cannot help wanting
to return to beautiful Estes Park. If we do, Idlewilde will be our choice. Thanks much to Donna and Loyd for the
great job they do and for the hospitality. I heard Loyd comment that 80% of their guests are return customers. I
think that says it all!"
