"We stayed at Idlewilde in early Sept and we loved it. The cabin we had was
clean, comfortable, very nice, and the grounds were extremely well kept. The hot tub was great, the
river was peaceful and 30 feet from our door. We were about 3 miles from downtown Estes so it was
close enough for easy travel into town, but far enough to be quiet. It was more than I expected. The
owners Donna and Lloyd are very nice and friendly, willing to help and give information any time.
Donna even let us use her Safeway card for grocery discount. We cooked breakfast in our kitchen each
morning. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend Idlewilde!"

many years. We moved from Colorado in 1994 and I had not been back since 1996. What a blessing to have such

"It was everything we hoped for and more. My two adult daughters and I chose to vacation
in beautiful Estes Park and were praying that we had made a wise lodging selection. Idlewilde is in a beautiful
setting. The cabins are charming and well kept. There's a fire pit and grills throughout. The jaccuzzi is
awesome and was a big hit with my daughters. I cannot say enough about the hospitality. Lloyd and Donna made us
feel at home. We travel several times a year and have seldom experienced this type of hospitality. I highly
recommend Idlewide."

"Idlewilde by the River is the most relaxing place in Estes Park, particularly in cabins
right next to the river such as Aloha. I never get tired of the rushing river roar and could sit right there
for hours. the Claypool friendliness is another big plus at Idlewilde as they have much info about places to
eat and things to do in the area. Can't see any reason to book anywhere else after staying several places over
6 trips between 1967 and 2008 but with last three times at Idlewilde"
