"Our stay at Idlewide was more than we could have imagined. The
cabin was clean and cozy, the screened in porch was great, we enjoyed sitting on the
porch swing watching the hummingbirds and listening to the river right behind our cabin.
Lloyd and Donna make you feel like family and we really appreciated the use of Donna's
Safeway card so that we could save some money on our groceries. We have already made
reservations for next year and can't wait to get back."

amazing from the hummingbirds to the wild turkey that roamed the property. The river was
amazing as usual. The rushing sound was very soothing at night and envigorating during
the day. This was our second stay and definitely won't be our last. Great location,

off Lloyd and Donna treat you like long lost family when you arrive and while you are with

at Idlewilde was. Donna and Lloyd are so nice and treated us like family. We will miss
them! The cabins were extremely clean and we had everything we needed! Just sitting by the
Big Thompson River and relaxing is an unbelivable experience itself. This was my families
first real vacation together and it exceeded everything we had hoped for. The elk, the
humming birds and the turkey's that all roamed the property was so exciting for my 6 year old.
The cabins are close to town as well as the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park.
Everything was so convient and we cant wait to return next year! It's going to be a long 12
months waiting for our return to Idlewilde. Thank you Lloyd and Donna for making us feel so
welcome and making our trip a special one! See you soon and my parents are looking forward to
